Cupping

Cupping is one of the oldest methods of traditional Chinese medicine. We use glass cups to mobilize the blood flow to promote the healing of a broad range of symptoms. Cupping Therapy helps to stimulate the flow of blood, balances and realigns the flow of qi, breaks up obstructions, and creates an avenue for toxins to be drawn out of the body. It can help with a variety of issues.

Wet Cupping / Hijama

Similar to dry cupping, glass cups are placed on the body and a tight seal is created. It is left on the skin for a few minutes, then taken off and small superficial cuts are made on the skin. The cups are then placed back on the skin and sealed to draw the blood out. It removes toxins and other waste material from the blood. The word Hijama in Arabic means “to draw out”. In Middle East it is widely practiced for its health benefits. This therapy is great for detoxing, but also significantly improves and/or eliminates:
